Opposition should have presented facts at floor of Parliament: Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri
In his special interview, PAT Chairman Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has said that the Opposition should have knocked out the government instead of walking out of Parliament. He said that the Opposition should have handed over the proofs of corruption of the ruling family to the Speaker and responded to the PM’s speech at the floor of the Parliament.
The PAT Chairman said that the Opposition should have asked the PM question about a steel mill in New Zealand. He said that one part of the Opposition has misled another party. He said that looking at the proceedings of the session, it becomes apparent that it was a compromised match and efforts are really afoot to hide facts. He said that there is a clear discrepancy in the statements of the PM and his sons regarding ownership of the London flats. He said that these flats were the property of the ruling family in 1994-95, adding that the Opposition has all these proofs and should have presented it in Parliament.
Dr Qadri said that at a time when one person who happens to be the PM was lying on the floor of the House, it was the responsibility of the Opposition to have brought out the truth but they chose the easiest path of walkout.
