Pakistan Today: Qadri denies rumors of deal with govt
LONDON: The Chief of Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri denied the rumors of a secret deal with government, on Monday, a private news channel reported.
“Is declaring me a proclaimed offender part of the deal?,” he questioned and further added that he would continue to visit Europe, North America and other countries in the wake of commitments relating to activities of Minhajul Quran and his party.
Talking to the media upon his arrival at Heathrow Airport of London, he said that no power on earth could stop him from returning to Pakistan.
Qadri denounced allegations of his party’s involvement in the attack on Pakistan Television headquarters in Islamabad rather, he stated, the attacks were government-sponsored.
Talking about Model Town incident, Qadri said that his party has shown its disapproval on the formation of joint investigation team.
The arrival of PAT chief in Pakistan is expected on November 20.
