Principal Secretary to Shaykh-ul-Islam and Director Foreign Affairs G.M.Malik received the guests. The delegation comprised Faite Alexandre, Miriam Zampatti and Mr. Salah-ud-Din. Shaykh-ul-Islam said that only Sayyidna Siddiq-e-Akbar (RA) stayed with the Holy Prophet (saw) in the Cave. Once people asked Huzrat Umer-e-Farooq (RA) about the status of Siddiq-e-Akbar (RA), he replied, "I (Umer) say that one night of Sayyidna Siddiq-e-Akbar (RA) that he spent in cave is superior to whole of my life." The Workers' Convention of Minhaj-ul-Quran International was held in the Minhaj University Campus Township on July 5, 2008 where a beautifully-decorated venue was set up. Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri presided over the event, whereas Sahibzada Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri; president of the Supreme Council (MQI), and Sahibzada Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, member of the Supreme Council (MQI), were the guest of honour at the occasion. On Thursday 12th of June 2008 our monthly Halaqa-e-Darood Shareef was held especially for the students of the Minhaj-ul-Quran Home educational project. Students recited naats and a young naat khawn, Muteen was also invited to encourage others to recite naats aswell, and Darood Shareef was read collectively. The students were shown video clips of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri as on the weekly study circles where they also listen attentively to Shaykh-ul-islam and gain knowledge. read more...
Some days ago an individual gave some blasphemous comments about Sayyidina Ali (AS) on a tv channel. In response to this, Shaykh ul Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri delivered two lectures of 11 hour duration.
