Pakistan Awami Tehreek has strongly condemned cross border violation by Indian Air Force planes and called on Government to raise this issue at diplomatic level. In his statement, Secretary General Pakistan Awami Tehreek, Khurram Nawaz Gandapur said violations of borders by Indian Air force is an act of aggression, which is condemnable. SC orders formation of new JIT to probe Model Town case

Supreme Court (SC) on Wednesday has disposed of Pakistan Awami Tehreek’s (PAT) plea seeking formation of new joint investigation team (JIT) to probe Model Town carnage and directed the provincial government to reconstitute the team. PAT Chairman Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has said that we will present our point of view before the larger bench of the Supreme Court for constitution of a new JIT to probe the Model Town tragedy. The SC is going to take up the petition at its principal seat in Islamabad on December 5. He said that the establishment of a new JIT is inevitable to open the doors of justice on the families of the martyrs.
